FOX news is a propaganda channel, but it is not something I focus on often. I realize that FOX news is just another tool of the power in this corporate machine, and that the bigger picture needs to be looked at, i.e. the motives of Rupert Murdoch and how he is part of the Corporate power, and his network specializes in brainwashing. I have noticed something on FOX recently though, other than the fixed interviews and the pundits screaming at people they disagree with. They will bring whorish women on to the shows that contribute nothing to discussions about political or social matters, and those who are political are just as whorish as the ones that contribute nothing.

She needs to dress like that on a professional “news” show… ? Really?

And it’s more than just women. The entire Channel is features shows that are very “shiny” and packaged, if you know what I mean. By this, I’m speaking of the banners at the bottom of the screen, the American flag flying in the background, the graphics, etc. It’s like a giant advertisement.

Is Rupert Murdoch just trying to make his propaganda more appealing? I certainly think so.

Also, don’t even try to say that FOX isn’t the mainstream media. If it was not, it would not be playing in many public buildings, such as waiting rooms in the hospital, gyms, etc.
I am a woman, and I do not consider myself a lesser person because I do not indulge in mindless consumerism. I do not care that I do not have a mac.

Also, to the person who said things about the “left-leaning channels”: MSNBC has a few pundits like Rachel Maddow or Keith Olberman who are left of center, but they are the soft left. Do you ever hear them criticize the Military as an institution, Israel, Capitalism as a system, or the way the U.S.A. was founded? No. They play it safe like most progressives.
The other networks are almost as right-wing as FOX.
